वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा जानेहरुको मृत्यु विभिन्न कारणले हुने गरेको छ । अधिकांशको मुत्युको कारण कार्यस्थलको दुर्घटना हो भने केहीको सडक दुर्घटनामा मृत्यु हुने गरेको छ । कतिपय नेपालीले सुतेकै ठाउँमा विविध कारणले मृत्युवरण गर्ने गरेका छन् । केहीको हत्या भएको छ भने केहीले आत्महत्या गरेको पाइएको छ । धेरै नेपालीहरुको हृलयाघातका कारणले निधन हुने गरेको छ । केहीको प्राकृतिक मृत्यु भएको छ ।

नेपाली कामदारहरुका लागि सन् २०१५ मा सबैभन्दा बढी असुरक्षित देश मलेसिया देखिएको छ । रोजगारीमा सवैभन्दा धेरै नेपाली रहेको मलेसियामै धेरै नेपालीको मृत्यु भएको छ । बोर्डका अनुसार एक वर्षको अवधिमा मलेसियामा ४१५ नेपालीले रोजगारीका क्रममा ज्यान गुमाएका छन् ।
मोरङ जिल्लाबासीको धेरै मृत्यु भएको छ । एक वर्षको अवधिमा मोरङका ४५ जनाले विदेशी भूमिमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन्
गत वर्ष साउदी अरेबियामा २७० नेपालीले ज्यान गुमाएका छन् । साउदीमा धेरै नेपालीको मृत्यु सडक दुर्घटनामा भएको छ । कतार पनि नेपाली कामदारका लागि असुरक्षित देखिएको छ । कतारमा सन् २०२२ का लागि विश्वकप आयोजना गर्न निर्माण भइरहेको रंगशालामा काम गर्ने क्रममा नेपालीहरुको धेरै मृत्यु हुने गरेको छ ।
एक वर्षको अवधिमा युएईमा एक वर्षमा ५९ नेपालीको ज्यान गएको छ । सन् २०१५ मा कतारमा ५९ जना नेपाली कामदारले मृत्युवरण गरेका छन् ।
अर्को खाडी मुलुक कुवेतमा एक वर्षभित्र ४३ जना नेपालीको मृत्यु भएको छ । बहराइनमा एक वर्षमा ११ जना नेपाली कामदारको ज्यान गएको छ । त्यस्तै दक्षिण कोरियामा एक वर्षमा १७ नेपालीको मृत्यु भएको छ ।
अन्य खाडी राष्ट्रको तुलनामा ओमान नेपालीहरुका लागि सुरक्षित देखिएको छ । एक वर्षको अवधिमा ओमान ५ जनाको मात्रै ज्यान गएको छ ।
कुन जिल्लामा कतिको मृत्यु ?
वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा गएका मध्ये एक वर्षको अवधिमा मोरङका ४५, झापाका ३८, धनुषाका ३६, सर्लाहीका ३४ र तनहुँका २६ जनाले विदेशमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन्
वैदेशिक रोजगारीका क्रममा मृत्यु हुनेहरुको जिल्लागत तथ्यांक केलाउँदा सन् २०१५ मा मोरङ जिल्लाबासीको धेरै मृत्यु भएको छ । एक वर्षको अवधिमा मोरङका ४५ जनाले विदेशी भूमिमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन् ।
बोर्डका अनुसार झापाका ३८, धनुषाका ३६, सर्लाहीका ३४ र तनहुँका २६ जनाले विदेशमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन् ।
विदेशमा ज्यान गुमाउनेहरुमा सिराहा २८, रुपन्देही २६, रोल्पा २३, रौतहट २२, पाँचथर २१, नवलपरासी २९ जना छन् । महोत्तरी र खोटाङका २३/२३ जनाले विदेशमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन् । दाङका २०, चितवनका २५ र बाग्लुङका २२ युवाको विदेशमा कामको सिलसिलामा मृत्यु भएको छ ।
त्यसैगरी सुनसरीका १९, ताप्लेजुङका ११, सुर्खेतका १४, सिन्धुपाल्चोक र सिन्धुलीका १८/१८, सप्तरीका १४, संखुवासभाका १२, सल्यानका १५, रुकुमका ११, रामेछापका १८, पर्वतका १३, पाल्पाका १८ र ओखलढुङ्गाका १३ जनाले विदेशमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन् ।
यस्तै नुवाकोटका १५, म्याग्दीका १३, मकवानपुरका १९, लमजुङका १३, कास्कीका १८, कपिलवस्तुका १२, इलामका १८, गुल्मीका ११, गोरखाका १४, दोलखा र धनकुटाका १२/१२, धादिङका १६, भोजपुरका ११, बर्दियाका १०, बाराका १५ र बाँकेका १३ जनाको मृत्यु विदेशमा भएको छ ।
एक वर्षको अवधिमा प्युठान, कञ्चनपुर, र काठमाडौंका ९ जनाले ज्यान गुमाएका छन् । तेह्रथुमका ७ जनाले ज्यान गुमाएका छन् भने सोलु र रसुवाका ६/६ जनाले विदेशमा ज्यान गुमाएका छन् । अर्घाखाँची र पर्साका ५, कालीकोट, दार्चुला, दैलेखका २/२, बैतडीका ३, कैलालीका ५ र जाजरकोटका ७ जनाको विदेशमा मृत्यु भएको तथ्यांक बोर्डसँग छ ।
अछाम, बझाङ, भक्तपुर, डडेल्धुरा, डोटी, जुम्ला, मनाङ र मुगुबाट विदेश गएका एक-एक जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ ।
चार जिल्लाका सबै सकुशल
विदेशमा ज्यान गुमाउनेमा तराई क्षेत्रका युवाको संख्या बढी छ । पछिल्ला दिनमा वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा कमै जाने मानिएका सुदुरपश्चिम र हिमाली जिल्लाका युवाले पनि खाडीमा मृत्युवरण गर्नुपरेको देखिन्छ ।
मनाङ, अछाम, बैतडी, डोटी, मुगु, जुम्लालगायतका जिल्लाका युवा पनि मृत्यु हुनेको सूचीमा छन् । पछिल्ला दिनमा भारत जान छाडेर सुदुपश्चिमका युवा खाडी जान थालेका छन् ।
तर, विदेशमा मृत्यु हुने युवाको सूचीमा नेपालका चार जिल्लाका एकजना पनि कामदार परेका छैनन् ।
गत वर्ष वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा मृत्युवरण नगरेका चार जिल्लामा हुम्ला, मुस्ताङ, डोल्पा र बाजुरा छन् । यी जिल्लाका एकैजनाको पनि वैदेशिक रोजागरीका सिलसिलामा मृत्यु नभएको बोर्डको तथ्याङ्कले देखाउँछ ।
मृतकको संख्या अझै बढ्न सक्छ
घरपरिवारका लागि दुई छाक खान समस्या नहास् भनेर विदेश पुग्ने नेपालीमध्ये वर्षमै १ हजारभन्दा बढी बाकसमा फर्कन्छन् भन्नु सामान्य कुरा होइन
बोर्डका कार्यकारी निर्देशक रघुराज काफ्ले भन्छन्- ‘सबै मृतकको विवरण हामीसम्म आइपुग्दैन । अवैधानिक रुपमा विदेश जाने र त्यहाँ रहँदा भिसाको म्याद सकिएर अवैधानिक बन्ने कामदारको मृत्युको तथ्यांक बोर्डसँग हुँदैन ।’
काफ्लेको यस्तो दाबीलाई आधार मान्ने हो भने एक वर्षमा १ हजार नेपाली कामदारको मृत्यु भएको तथ्यांक अझै बढ्न सक्छ । अवैधानिक कामदारहरुको मृत्युको विवरण रोजगार प्रवर्धन बोर्डसँग छैन ।
त्यस्तै कतिपय मृत्यु भएका कामदारका परिवारले बोर्डमा क्षतिपूर्ति दाबी नगर्ने पाइएको काफ्ले बताउँछन् । अवैधानिक रुपमा विदेशिनेको शव नेपाल ल्याउन सकिँदैन । उनीहरुको संख्यासमेत थप्ने हो भने विदेशमा मृत्युहुने नेपालीको संख्या अझै बढ्न सक्छ ।
